SHOW DESCRIPTION
What role does the site of a concert play in the conception, perception and performance of a musical work?
Espaces sonores illimtés was born in 1992 by the coming together of three composers preoccupied by the spatial aspects of instrumental music and by a questioning of the traditional concert. Their first major project is a musical and philosophic exploration of the Ste-Victoire Church in Victoriaville.
Three distinctive sonic visions of the site are performed by the 26 musicians of the ECM+ conducted by Véronique Lacroix.
