Myth or reality…? The fear of the end of the world fuels various streams in popular culture. Many centuries after they first appeared in sacred texts, certain themes such as the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse remain universal and incarnate war, illness, famine and death. The ECM+’s flute ensemble and cellist Chloé Dominguez, led by artistic director Véronique Lacroix, explore these ultimate frontiers with creations by Charles-Antoine Fréchette, Brian Harman, James O’Callaghan and Paul Steenhuisen.
SQRM will launch their new "Cahier" before the concert, at 18:45. The Cahier features, amongst others, an article on Génération.
