SHOW DESCRIPTION

The Ensemble contemporain de Montréal (ECM+) and the chamber orchestra Appassionata join their instrumental forces within a symphony orchestra alternately directed by Véronique Lacroix and Daniel Myssyk. With Foumalade’s original videos and an imaginative scenario by Matthias Maute inspired by Manuel de Falla's Amour Sorcier, this Spanish Gipsy tale serves as a common thread linking the two evening’s Canadian premieres with the Nine Proverbs of Ana Sokolovic.
